331 Master Heavy Fluid Art/Make A Dramatic Abstract Sunflower On Black Base /If DIVA was a painting!

This one seriously BLEW ME AWAY! Hello out there all you beautiful art-loving peeps. Welcome back to another video showcasing how to use heavy fluid acrylics to make abstract flowers, in this series, the humble sunflower. hope you enjoy it! I picked the colors on a hunch and boy, did it pan out! Was SO excited to be able to make a black background even though I began with white foundation paint layer. SO very exciting! This opens up a WHOLE new world of possibilities hehehehe

Flowers and nature are a passion of mine, have been since I was a child and use to spend hours outside in the woods around our various homes we live in as a way to escape the abuse within. If you have been following along you have seen my recent obsession, the Double Dutch Bloom. Those are SO fun and challenging too. This style is a bit different in both style and composition. These sunflowers (I've done a few now) are very abstract and I LOVE them! Sure hope you do too. They make my heart sing! ❤️ I hope you enjoy watching the creation of them as much as I enjoy doing it. I've done several of these and will be sharing each one coming in the next days and weeks. These colors are placed on a foundation layer of my favorite brand of house paint. I will be sharing all soon so that if you wish, you too can create these gorgeous Double Dutch Blooms! 🌼

If you don't know who I am, or if you are new to my channel, I'm Kristen, the artist also known as Li'l K, and this is Li'l K Artistry. 😍❤️ My art was born out of my therapy experience healing from a narcissistic abuse situation as well as my childhood abuse and trauma. It started as a way for me to visualize my feelings and emotions in real time. I began painting on rocks (mandala dotting) and very small canvases. My first series was my emotions. I was encouraged to 'sit and chat' with each one as it came up, in real time, and I found the exercise profoundly healing. It motivated me to delve deeper into art and thus began my journey to find my 'artsy' side lol.
So, at the tender age of 53, I did just that! Now the art is just flowing out of me and I couldn't stop it even if I wanted to, not that I do.
