This film tells of life among the Polynesian people of the Cook Islands in Moana Roa, their name for the Pacific Ocean. Life among the Polynesian people of New Zealand's palm-shaded, coral-ringed Cook Islands in the Pacific. Fish spearing, underwater sequences, and racing in swift sailing canoes along the lagoons. Administration, health services, educational and development work. Exports of copra, oranges, bananas, and pineapples. Native singing and dancing, including some of the best hula dancing ever filmed.
