This video is an archive-style flip-through of a Roland Sound System Catalog from 1981—a piece of Roland history that I haven’t been able to find posted anywhere online.
Inside are Japan-market / Japan-focused releases and some seriously uncommon gear, including the Roland AMX-600 mixer and several rare karaoke and sound system components that almost never show up in the usual online catalogs.
My goal here is simple: preserve and document a rare snapshot of early-80s Roland audio gear so collectors and enthusiasts have a reference point.
