Time and Work - Math for DSSRB Exams 2024

Note: I realized my mistake in question 7. After calculating A's work (3 x 4 = 12), I overlooked B's contribution (2 x 4 = 8) during their 4-day collaboration.

Correcting this:

Total work = 30
Combined work in 4 days = A's (12) + B's (8) = 20
Remaining work = 30 - 20 = 10

Now, dividing the remaining work by B's daily rate (2):

10 ÷ 2 = 5

The correct answer is indeed 5 days for B to complete the remaining work.
