Nourishing and cosy turmeric chicken & greens noodle soup

Aromatic and wholesome, this is a family favourite when coziness is of the essence. I told you I’d share some of our home recipes that weren’t Indian so I hope you like this.

The chicken is poached with fresh turmeric, ginger, star anise and peppercorns. I like to use buckwheat soba noodles for this, and the kale provides all the green goodness.

You can squirrel away any extra broth for another meal. My tips included in the video as standard but there’s one rule: please buy the nicest quality chicken you can! It makes a huge difference to the end result!
