Topy Glerum (1918-1977) was called "the best Dutch Lady Crooner" and had already sung with the "AVRO" orchestra of Kovacs Lajos in Hilversum, when she signed a recording contract for the"Decca" label in Holland where she made a number of recordings with the well-known Dutch orchestra "The Ramblers" of Theo Uden Masman.
