Today's recipe is very easy, it is perfect for your merienda! This is another version of the trending "Ube Cheese craze".
Ingredients:
1 big can condensed milk
3/4c evaporated milk
3/4c water
3 pcs large eggs
3T melted butter
3c all purpose flour
3T baking powder
2T Ube flavor
Cheese (sliced)
Ube Halaya/ Ube Jam (*optional)
Procedure:
1. Whisk together flour and baking powder in a bowl.
2. In a another bowl, whisk together the condensed milk, evaporated milk, water, eggs, melted butter, and ube flavor.
3. Add in the flour mixture, and gently mix using a wire whisk or wooden spoon.
4. Pour the batter into the puto molds, then top with sliced cheese and ube halaya.
5. Steam for about 10 to 15mins.
6. Let it cool and Enjoy!
