Minecraft won't update creepers so I did it myself

Join me as I draw out some redesigns for Minecraft's creeper, coming up with some new creeper designs which add new visual variations as well as new gameplay, crafting recipes and lore to the game! Just for fun :)

The recent "Spring to Life" update in Minecraft, released on March 25, 2025, has revitalized the Overworld by introducing new ambient features and regional mob variants. Players can now encounter warm and cold variants of pigs, cows, and chickens, each adapted to their respective biomes. For instance, cold variants spawn in snowy and mountainous regions, while warm variants are found in deserts and jungles. Sheep wool colors now vary depending on the biome, enhancing the game's realism. Additionally, the update has enriched the environment with new flora such as firefly bushes, wildflowers, and leaf litter, along with ambient sounds like desert winds, making the world feel more dynamic and immersive. There have also been previous Minecraft updates which have added new hostile mob variants, such as skeleton and zombie variants, and a blaze variant called a breeze. Notably, despite these additions, there are no new variations for creepers in this update.

So, I decided to take things into my own hands in this video and create some brand new creeper designs using Ibis Paint and my brain. Let me know if you like any of the ideas and also if you have any cool ideas you wish they would add to Minecraft!
