The NSCN (IM) marked the 79th Naga Independence Day at its council headquarters in Hebron with calls to reaffirm unity, resist external pressures, and preserve Naga sovereignty. In a speech read in absentia, general secretary Th. Muivah recounted the Indo-Naga peace process, from the 1995 Paris meeting to the Framework Agreement of 2015, and honoured past leaders and allies who shaped the political journey. The event featured solidarity messages, cultural performances, and a flag-hoisting ceremony.
