Kullu in Himachal Pradesh is your gem in the Parbati Valley on the north-eastern bank of the Bhunto River. It is 4 km from the 60-metre-high summit of the Kullu River and about 45 km from Kullu and about 35 km from Bhuntar.
This small town attracts tourists traveling to Manali and Kullu for its hot springs and pilgrimage sites. An experimental geothermal power station has also been set up here.
Manikaran is a pilgrimage site for Hindus and Sikhs. It has many temples like Lord Rama, Shri Krishna, Lord Vishnu and a Gurudwara. There is also a Mahadev temple here. The area is well known for its hot springs and its beautiful landscape.
