This was a brick. We oiled it and tried to work the wheel back and forth to no avail for several days. Today we decided to add that little bit of Butch.
Understanding the mechanism of the machine and being aware of which part goes which way while the machine is in one position, we gently used a hammer and steel rod to just lightly punch the parts just to break any possibly rusted on points. This has to be done very carefully. Respecting the machine and being very patient. We call this controlled butch.
