Pahalgam Terror Attack: US Spokesperson Shuts Down Pakistani Journalist | Firstpost America | N18G

The US State Department refused to comment on a Pakistani journalist’s question, days after the deadly terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir. During a media briefing, Spokesperson Tammy Bruce was asked about the department’s stance on the border tensions between India and Pakistan. However, instead of answering the question, Bruce shunned the Pakistani reporter, affirming the previous remarks made by the White House. Bruce further said US President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio have made one thing clear: the United States stands with India. Earlier, Trump called Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to extend his full support to India. As many as 26 people were killed after terrorists opened fire at a group of tourists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam on April 22.
