Windbreaker's Cancellation: A Symptom of A Bigger Problem?

DESCRIPTION:

The Windbreaker Webtoon (written and illustrated by Youngseok Jo) has recently been cancelled and removed off of the Webtoon platform due to confirmed allegations of tracing and artistic plagiarism. While the Windbreaker tracing debacle is an isolated incident of tracing (so far), does this situation hint at a bigger issue plaguing the wider manhwa / webtoon community?

In this video, I weigh in and talk about the entire Windbreaker Tracing Controversy, my own personal thoughts and feeling about the Windbreaker series and situation along with a small deep dive into the dark side of being a Webtoon / Manhwa writer and artist and how this might have affected the author / writer of the series (ultimately leading to the Webtoon getting fully cancelled).
