Fred's son John, his wife Gaye, their young son Michael and Gaye's parents take a trip to Germany and Austria in 1970 to visit family friends. Including a trip to the Nymphenburg Palace, Munich, Chiemsee, Salzburg, with the Residence fountain and views from the terrace of Salzburg Castle, Heidelberg with views of Heidelberg Castle and the Old Bridge over the river Neckar and a car ferry across the river Rhine from St Goar to St Goarshausen. Filmed by John Pedley using 16mm cine film.
