Small video to show auto tool length measurement using our wireless tool height sensor and setting for Mach 3, this routine uses a reference tool and sets the Z to zero and then populates tool table with offsets compared to first tool. You can just set reference toot to zero and then set offset for single replaced or damaged tool rather than all eight as shown here. Routine will be refined and improved for faster operation, as you can see runs quickly enough to run whenever you want, very important all tools are checked before running that they are clean and no swarf or other contaminants on tools especially reference tool as all other readings will be referenced from your chosen tool.
