Hi there to all fans of great music. Many people were complaining about the sound quality of the official releases from the "Live In Finland" show of the band "Sonata Arctica". For those who have never heard of the band before: They are kind of a "Progressive Power Metal" band! :D
I ripped myself the vinyl version and i really like the sound!
I have chosen the two pieces "As If The World Was Not Ending" and "Instrumental Exhibition", which are nice songs to introduce newcomers into the band! :)
By the way:
-I did no equalizing at all of the files. You hear just the same what came out of my preamp. It is not even a professional turntable, the needle is not worth more than 20€!
-I ripped the video from a few Youtube uploaders. However, I couldn't figure out the synchronisation problem.
After a while, it would just start to not work fine in sync.
However, this one is not supposed to be a film, it just shows how the DVD/Blueray of the show would have sounded with a vinyl mastering!
