Today we are making a chicken feeder. This feeder design is able to hold an entire bag of feed. The one that we are building today will allow 4 chickens to feed at once and can be adjusted to allow more by adding more elbows.
To build this feeder, we will use a 30 gallon tote and four 3" PVC 90° elbows. We picked up our supplies at the local big box home improvement store. If you plan on using the feeder through the winter, we suggest to get a tote that is cold resistant so it doesn't crack in the cold.
