Healing Waters: Hidden Pacific Island Paradise in Panama

Have you heard of the Pearl Islands? A unique archipelago off of Panama's Pacific coast, this remote area is steeped in natural beauty. It is famous for being the location where they filmed the TV show Survivor, and its main island of Contadora is where Panama's jetset come to relax & recharge.

Its uniqueness doesn't end there. The Pearl Islands are home to 200+ more islands. Among them are some of the world's most spectacular hidden sand bars and islets. These remote pieces of paradise are straight out of National Geographic 🌎💗🏝

One of the most magical islands we have seen so far in "Las Perlas" is this beautiful sandbar in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Called "Boya Arena," the translation from Spanish is "Sand Buoy." The reason for its name? When you approach it, it looks like a giant buoy of sand out in the great big Pacific Ocean!

The moment I saw it, it was love at first sight 💕💕💕
