His journey mirrors the brokenness of our history: a Black man enslaved, baptized into a foreign faith, and forced to fight against people whose suffering mirrored his own.

Behind his name lies a heavy lesson — how empire uses survival against us, turning captives into conquerors, making the oppressed fight the oppressed.
