In this video my son, Greg Bullock, and I celebrate his 23rd birthday at our home here in central Norwich, Norfolk, England. The video was recorded on the morning of his birthday - December 29, 2021.
We then look back at our many years of trying to “capture” all his birthdays by taking digital birthday portrait photos of him every year, each one showing him holding a differently numbered birthday card.
Every year Greg poses with a birthday card for me - in the same chair in the same room, creating an album that has recorded his growing-up year-by-year.
This YouTube video looks back over 23 years of photos with a narrated slideshow - right up to the most recent picture, with Greg summing up his thoughts on the whole “birthday portrait” experience!
