I put together this tutorial for the benefit of some of my podcast viewers who are just beginning to knit socks and are interested in learning how to knit a traditional topdown heel flap and gusset sock. I walk you through the steps of knitting a heel flap, turning a heel, picking up stitches along the heel flap to avoid gaps, and decreasing the gusset stitches. I am NOT a professional instructor or videographer so please bear with the amateur production value.
