Bibby Stockholm: Government contract ends for controversial asylum barge

It was hailed as the answer to Britain's asylum housing crisis - but today the Government's contract with the ill-fated Bibby Stockholm barge officially comes to an end.

The last asylum seekers are believed to have left the vessel in November but the controversial contract has now expired.

One inmate told Sky News what it was like to live on board describing it as a "floating prison".
