Editorial Photoshoot in Harsh Sunlight | Downtown Chattanooga, TN
In today’s shoot I worked with model Evan in the heart of downtown Chattanooga—right in the middle of some seriously harsh sunlight. Instead of avoiding the light, we used it to create bold, high-contrast editorial images with an affordable setup.
📸 Gear Used:
• Canon R6 Mark II
• Tamron 15–30mm f/2.8 (budget lens doing BIG work)
• Flashpoint XPLOR 600 strobe
We explored hard shadows, wide-angle perspectives, and a gritty downtown vibe to build a dramatic look. This shoot is a great example of using what you have, embracing tough lighting, and still walking away with powerful images.
