Here's a relatively easy air-to-air mission where the only enemy air targets are three fighter jets; the game doesn't let you know what the targets are until you get close enough for your in-flight air target display to identify them. Beyond that, the enemy air targets don't even put up that much of a fight (at least they didn't in this playthrough of the mission anyway), making this a relatively short mission. (For me, landing on the carrier at the end of the mission was more difficult (relatively speaking) than actually accomplishing the mission objectives.)
