My career began with a BS in dietetics and a BAA in health fitness promotion. I worked at Northwestern Memorial Hospital where I focused on clinical work and corporate wellness. Eventually, I even earned an MBA in global business.

I also spent years working as a sales and marketing executive in the pharmaceutical industry. I stood out as a leader in this job, creating branding and marketing strategies that were adopted by my entire region.

I should have been completely happy.

But instead . . . I was completely disillusioned.

I became a registered dietitian because I wanted to change people’s lives.

But my time at Northwestern didn’t allow me to make that impact, and my role in the pharmaceutical industry had started to feel like a betrayal to my mission.

So with zero clients and zero revenue, I took a big leap in 2007 and opened up my own private practice. I had no idea how it was going to work, but I knew I was determined (ballet had proven that to me).

With young kids at home, I chose to build my entire practice using a virtual model.

No office. No team. Just me, my expertise, and a telephone.

My credentials had allowed me to pursue this dream, but in order to attract clients, create and sell 6-figure programs, and grow and scale my business, I had to tap into all the marketing experience I had gained during my years in the pharmaceutical industry.

Today, I’m a business coach to health and wellness entrepreneurs who dream of creating their own profitable private practice, and I’m still driven by the passion I started with during my days as a Registered Dietitian: I’m here to help people live better lives.

This means that no matter how we work together, I will always overdeliver — because you’re passionate about changing lives, too. So. . .
