Live: My Obsession with TriX - Black and White for the Holidays

Today:
I share some past images using TriX developed at box speed. I look forward to the holiday season focused on shooting most family events with this film. I also share my experience with Adobe no longer working on my iMac, and my hope to stretch my Apple experience out as far as I can. I also celebrate Red Dot Forum’s return after being hacked.

My name is Jerod Killick. I am a photographer and writer from Port Moody BC. If you stumble upon me in real life, I am usually with a camera at my side, eager to document the passing moments. Since the purchase of my first camera at the age of 14 in 1986 (a Minolta XG1), I have worked to archive much of my journey. Over the years, the tools I consistently return to are my Leica M6, Mamiya RZ67, Minolta XG1, and Holga.

I am the author of the novel, "Without A Testimony", a coming of age story of love, loss, and the powerful conflict between faith and sexuality. You can also find in my published works, "Youthful Discontent", a book of poetry revealing the angst of early adulthood.

This channel is a personal journal of insights on personal growth and the deep connections we make through art. Much of the content is also informed by my background in Behavioural Medicine and Health Psychology. Join me as I share my lived experience and stories captured with the pen and on film.
