#06 From WICK via SCOURIE to TORRIDON. DEBIT CARD refused. SOLO MOTO TRIP

Two days in where I am driving from WICK via JOHN O'GROATES via SCOURIE to TORRIDON. I am doing the NC500 counter clockwise to get a trip from dull, flat and quite boring to stunning and beautiful LANDSCAPES. Because I am approaching the really fantastin HIGHLANDS in the West of SCOTLAND. Unfortunately my DEBIT CARD was refused by a petrol station. But in LOCHINVER I was able to fill up the tank without difficulties. I also did little shopping in Lochinver and here my debit card was refused again. A nice Scot was willing to help me out. Nice. I also lost the bolt that attaches the clutch fluid reservoir to my steer. Two tiewraps saved it. And the SHIELDAIG campsite having plenty of space, especially for a little tent as I have, is advertising it didn't have vacancies. Weird. Bad service. Luckily the Torridon campsite did have space. The SMOO CAVE is another stunning thing I visited.
