As we continue honouring Women’s Month, we spotlight Detective Constable Meetsana Mashiloane and her dedicated team from the Limpopo Provincial Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS). This specialised unit of 13 investigating officers works tirelessly to protect women, children, and other vulnerable groups from crimes such as sexual offences, child pornography, and serial rape. Between May 2024 and June 2025, their relentless efforts resulted in offenders receiving 400+ years of imprisonment.
Constable Mashiloane joined the South African Police Service as an Administration Clerk in 2015. Inspired by the dedication of the men and women in uniform, she decided to become one of the women in blue. After completing her training, she joined the SECI team at the Limpopo provincial office in 2023. Constable Mashiloane takes great pride in the vital work she does.
