Alright, almost a year after we first shot our official "Slaughter on 10th Avenue" cover video, it is time for us to do a posh version (the old one was one of the last 1-mic recorded live videos) of this awesome song we often used as our opening song in the past. Mina also thought it'd be a good idea for us to do a 1984 live version of the song with Nokie Edwards playing lead guitar, while McGee was playing the bass. "Slaughter on 10th Avenue" was really the song that had me begun to think perhaps Mina should play lead, as she first demonstrated to me that it was easy for her to remember the whole song. I kept wondering and asked myself if the song was really that easy to memorize. She was like 8 when she first played it. Hahaha!

Folks, thank you for giving us your continued support, and we hope in return, we bring you a smile on your face via these songs so stay tuned, as more cool music videos will be ready before you know it!

Ride of the Song: was hoping to talk about the Miura, or a 356 or a 300SL. But really, they are too surreal. Then recently, the only off-the shelf EV that I am interested in is the Hongqi E-HS9. I am not sure if this car has made it to other shores yet. It's not a vintage car at all and probably the first Made in China car that I am interested enough in, and believe this huge monster in tux would actually make an awesome "foot car" for us to go to gigs. Well, Adam Smith. You have no idea how much of a "foot car" you are getting for the amount of money you spend. The presence of it of course can't match with how surreal it would be for a Miura, and the interior, boy, it DOES look luxurious but I tell myself not to expect too much. Like I said, I will use it as a "foot car", but it sure looks like a Cullinan knock-off. But, I must say a Cullinan doesn't look quite right on the outside (ok, I was thinking of the world ugly), yet this HS9, it looks handsome to me. And without spending extra money to have it electrified, and considering it costs only 1/15 of what one would pay for a Cullinan, I'll take a E-HS9 as a foot car, and will be happy using it. It is massive so I don't expect much joy from its handling, and I believe I would have to try not showing joy from perhaps conspicuous consumption (but it really doesn't cost an arm plus a kidney). I would be just a handsome carefree car roomy enough to haul us from gigs to gigs. The Cotton Kids sans old Dad will be performing at the marina clubhouse for the first time this weekend. I still have to bring them there (but can't stay and watch) so I guess I would be able to get at least some yacht owners to turn their heads, thinking that the nation's leaders have arrived: only top top country leaders rode in Hongqi in the past. Not to mention their big yachts are company boats anyway so they are all smart in terms of not spending their own money but money from others. I guarantee you, they will think I am smart too when I arrive in this Hongqi E-HS9. hahaha
