Roy Coleman, founder of the Chicago Regional and International High School Bridge Building Contests discusses types of bridges and provides instruction on how to build a model wood bridge for the Chicago Regional Bridge Contest (http://www.iit.edu/~hsbridge). The Regional contest is held annually at Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT). This lecture was presented at IIT on October 17, 2008 as part of the Science Chicago (http://www.sciencechicago.com) event calendar.
