There's cork in the interior. The rear doors swing open backward. The Mazda MX-30 has plenty of quirks. Plenty of drivers will focus on its short 100-mile driving range, but this little EV is a compelling drive, and it's a valiant effort from an automaker without a dedicated EV platform.
