Sunday, Dec 7th there seemed to be a convention of doves! And yes it was a cold day, temperatures only hitting about 30 degrees.
The wrens and sparrows kick unwanted seeds out of their feeders onto the ground.Mr Squirrel will usually grab the sunflower seeds. But a lot of it just sits there.
Once the doves found out what was there, it was like a Golden Coral buffet!
This is the most I have seen "grazing the seed bar" at one time.
Be sure to watch the full 5 minutes...they cover the ground.
