For the longest time I've been convinced that the crappy 25BYJ-48 stepper on my DIY 3D printer's extruder was to blame for the bad print quality I'm getting, so I decided to verify this inkling once and for all by temporarily sticking a known GOOD extruder on it just to see how it would improve things - it's safe to say the results I got weren't as straightforward as I expected!
Also stay tuned for the new 3D printer build! I'm still in the process of finishing up the CAD, but I can tell you already that it looks amazing and I'm really excited to get started on the build and see it print the first parts :)
