Chasing Dreams Short Film

Chasing Dreams is a short film for the  @geraldundone  film contest with  @GearFocus .

I realize that the subject matter presented is somewhat controversial, so I appreciate you taking the time to watch. I attempted to document the experience (if possible in 4 minutes) that I've been having in the past couple years since we were locked down. It has been a restless and sleepless time for me.

I turned 53 years as I was making this. During that time, a 21 year old German student, Lukas, stayed at our house here in New Orleans. At 21, Lukas is interested in becoming a Director of Photography. I'm more than 2X his age, and after a more than 30 years of working in the corporate world, I want to do the same. So having Lukas around while I was making this was a good kick in the pants. He gave me a reason to leave the house which I have barely done in more than 2 years.

It would be an honor to win this contest, but I've seen the stiff competition and I don't believe that's possible. Nonetheless, I've passed a personal milestone – I just wanted to be heard.
