In today's episode of Release to Grease fishing, myself, JC, and Tucker head out of Nicks Park boat ramp to do some spearfishing. We are greeted by rough seas and horrible visibility after we travel 15 miles off the west coast of Florida. Tucker and JC are freediving while I am scuba, and we all have a tough time. JC gets sea sick pretty early on, I shoot a few mangrove snappers and a hogfish. We decide to tuck our tails between our legs and run back in to land. We stop at a restaurant on the water on the Cotee river in New Port Richey. We get our fish cooked there, including a whole fried hogfish after JC cleans it. We finish out day cleaning up the boat. I tried to show more of the process of getting the boat ready to go out and cleaning it up after to give you a feel of how a normal day goes.
