Mozart - Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (12 variations on Ah vous dirai-je, Maman)

In May 2023, Milosz performed this piece at his senior recital at the Pinellas County Center for the Arts, where he made history as the first piano major with autism to graduate in the school's 35-year history. Unfortunately, that recital was not recorded, so this recording was made later. The event is described in the book chronicling Milosz's life story, I Heard the Light, published in November 2023 on Amazon.com, and in its Polish version, Przez labirynt autyzmu, authored by Bożena Gąsior.

This piece showcases Mozart's remarkable interpretation of one of the world's most beloved children's songs. Contrary to popular belief, Mozart did not compose the theme; it is based on a French folk song that was already popular when he decided to create his set of variations in 1782. At that time, Mozart was 25 years old and intended to use the variations to teach his students. Interestingly, he waited three years before publishing it.

These variations are known for their cheerful and lively character, making them a delight for performers and audiences.
