Humpback Whales Off the Coast of Polynesia with Revealed Travel Guides – Narrated by Andrew Doughty

Every year, in the wintertime, humpback whales travel from Alaska down to Hawai‘i. New humpback calves are born in these waters, and groups of whales play off the coast of the Hawaiian islands. Whale watching is a popular activity from November to April because of this annual migration, and it's a wonderful activity if you're visiting the islands during that time. After winter's over, the whales migrate north to the waters off the coast of Alaska, where they'll feed and grow in preparation for their next visit to Hawai‘i.

All of the filming for this video was done in Polynesia, where other groups of whales swim and play in the warm coastal waters. Join Andrew Doughty as he tells you a bit about the humpbacks and their annual Hawaiian visit.
