The main features of The New Tucson are as follows.

The New Tucson, a flagship subcompact SUV that strengthened product competitiveness, was launched on December 6, 2023. The New Tucson is a partially changed model that further boosted the product competitiveness of the fourth-generation Tucson, which was launched in September 2020.


The New Tucson inherited the theme of "Parametric Dynamics" contained in the existing model, and at the same time, it has been reborn as a more complete design through an exterior with a dense and wide image and an interior that feels luxurious and high-tech.


At the front, the detailed graphics of the Parametric Jewel Hidden Lamp and Radiator Grill, which act as daytime driving lights, are implemented in a thin and angled shape, and bumpers and skid plates extending from side to side are applied to give a strong and wide look.


At the back, the skid plate integrated with the bumper molding was expanded horizontally to give a wider and more imposing impression, and the design was designed to be sophisticated and hard, adding a sense of stability to the front. There was no change in the tail lamp, but I felt that it matched better with the curved expression of the front part.


The interior is equipped with a "Panoramic Curved Display" that connects 12.3-inch digital clusters and infotainment systems in a curved shape, respectively, to enhance the driver's visibility and enhance the sense of luxury, and an infotainment/air conditioning control system that combines physical buttons/nobes and capacitive touch methods to improve ease of use.


In addition, a floating console that seems to be floating in the air was formed in the center space, which was relaxed by applying a column-type electronic shift lever to maximize storage, and a smartphone wireless charging system and a cup holder were arranged in parallel to increase space utilization.


The New Tucson is equipped with driving technologies such as an auto-terrain mode that automatically selects the optimal driving mode by judging the road surface being driven in real time, and a lateral wind stability control that controls steering and braking when strong winds occur during high-speed driving.
