"City Lights" - Speedqb Australia: Round 3

Incase you didn't know, I make the music for these videos. It seems like a bit of a waste of time sometimes because often the music that I listen to when I edit the video fits better in my opinion. Every so often it makes the video better, this might be one of those times - but I'm not sure, I've watched this video too many times now to like it.

I finished the video edit of this video in about 3 hours. It flowed together well and I was really happy with the first draft.

Over the course of the next week and a bit I continued to chip away at the video and was starting to get pretty over it.

I'm glad I saw it through to the end, pretty happy with how it ended up coming out.

Mirrored the course of the day pretty well. We started out really well and smashed through our first 3 games. Felt super focused and I think the team was just enjoying playing matches together.

Then we got dumpstered by Anarchy and it felt like we were set to repeat the same stories of past comps. Start strong and fizzle out, leaving the comp frustrated and disappointed.

But we ended up finishing strong and taking a very narrowly scored first place.

Not really sure what lead to that, I just hope we can replicate it in the future.

Also gel sorters are awesome, would really recommend. I'll try put up a video on one at some point.
