After almost losing one of our own puppies, we created a cast to help treat flat chest. Flat chestedness (and other chest deformities) are extremely dangerous conditions in which a puppy will be born with or develop a flat chest due to environmental, congenital, or genetic (Pectus Excavatum) factors.
