Right ok pay attention now because do you remember when Rocks mentioned the two devil fruits in order to take down Imu? Everyone skims over and misses this piece of crucial dialouge, but its when Rocks implies that ONLY harald can fully realise the FULL potential of Elbaf’s Legendary DF, but hold your horses, because he also says that ONLY harald can awaken the Galley Ra giants, but we all know that Loki ended up eating that legendary elbaf DF thats necessary for taking down Imu, but thats the thing… what if the other DF Rocks was talking about was Luffy’s hito hito no mi?

Keep all that in the back of your mind because lets actually look at this from Shanks’ perspective. Why did Shanks wait all these years to finally claim One Piece? Why did he wait for the arrival of Gear 5? It’s because when Roger found the One Piece, clearly it couldnt be used without the power of luffy’s fruit, hence why they were too early?
