California's Majestic Mountain Loop road trip is the perfect multi-day itinerary that takes visitors through Sequoia, Kings Canyon, and Yosemite National Parks, showcasing the best stops to encounter towering sequoias, ancient cave systems, massive granite peaks, and breathtaking waterfalls. Day 2 Highlights in Kings Canyon National Park...

🌲 STOP 1: General Grant Tree – This giant sequoia is the second-largest tree in the world and was declared the “Nation’s Christmas Tree” by President Coolidge in 1926.

🦇 STOP 2: Boyden Cavern – Nestled beneath the towering 2,000-foot marble walls of Kings Canyon, Boyden Cavern offers guided walking tours through a stunning cave system.

💦 STOP 3: Roaring River Falls – This is a stunning 40-foot waterfall right off the main highway. It’s easily accessible by a paved, wheelchair-friendly trail just a third of a mile long, making it perfect for visitors of all ages and abilities.

🌿 STOP 4: Zumwalt Meadow – Enjoy a serene trail that meanders through lush meadows, alongside the Kings River, and beneath towering granite walls.

🥾 STOP 5: Road's End – Highway 180 comes to an end and back country adventures begin at Road's End. Here you’ll find the “jumping off” point for some of the park's most iconic trails.
