Walking with Passion: Explore the World with Purpose

Slow travel, near and far. That's our mantra. It could be train travel. If you follow Travel Intently, well, intently, then you've viewed our numerous videos on that topic. But walking has long been a passion of Gail and me. It's something we have peered together as long as we have known each other. And we're talking 1986 and onwards. This video is a personal point of view exploring why we walk, how walking has been central to our lifestyle over the past 30 years and where we will be walking this autumn. Spoiler alert: it is a 500 km log-distance walk along the Minchuko Coastal Trail (MCT) in Japan.

Today's walk will take us down a portion of the Epinette Creek Trail in Spruce Woods Provincial Park, here in our home province on Manitoba. It's a lovely walk, an excellent place to explore our passion for walking.
