Welcome back to the channel! In today’s review, we’ll be comparing the new Hasbro Marvel Legends Secret Wars Wolverine to the MAFEX Wolverine Comic Version Brown Costume. Which one is the best Brown Costume Wolverine action figure in the 6-inch and 1/12 scale? We’ll break down the differences in design, articulation, accessories, and more. Marvel Legends vs. MAFEX Wolverine: Key Differences

Height: MAFEX Wolverine stands at 5.8 inches, while Marvel Legends Secret Wars Wolverine is slightly shorter at 5.7 inches. Despite the slight height difference, both fit well in the 6-inch scale.
Claws: MAFEX claws are metallic and sharp, while Marvel Legends Secret Wars Wolverine features lighter grey claws that don’t quite match the darker shade of the X-Men ’97 Wolverine claws.

Hands & Accessories: MAFEX offers 6 interchangeable hands, including relaxed open-palmed hands, whereas Marvel Legends provides only 4 hands. We'll also talk about the unmasked head and the Secret Wars shield that Hasbro includes in this version.

Articulation & Design
Marvel Legends Wolverine features a butterfly joint and standard ball joints, while MAFEX has a smoother butterfly joint and seamless double-jointed elbows. The MAFEX Wolverine’s articulation is generally superior, making it more dynamic for poses.

Paint and Sculpt: Marvel Legends features a lighter brown costume compared to the darker brown in the comics, which might disappoint some fans. However, the nostalgic packaging and secret shield are huge highlights!

MAFEX Wolverine: Still the Best?
MAFEX Wolverine remains the top choice for collectors, especially if you're after the best in quality, accessories, and articulation for your 1/12 scale Wolverine.

Final Thoughts
The Marvel Legends Secret Wars Wolverine offers a great homage to the 1984 Secret Wars figures with its retro packaging and shield, but if you already own the MAFEX Wolverine, you might not need this version.
