Cold Blue - The Great Awakening

The following words are a quite personal and very subjective perspective on the recent evolution of myself, some of the people that I know and places that I have been to.
Maybe these words will confuse you and don't really offer something that you can relate to. In that case, please try to just enjoy the music and see the rest as a weird fictional fun story around it. 🙂

For me this new track called "A Great Awakening" celebrates the rise of awareness, sensitivity and a certain kind of consciousness that has increasingly been growing into our lives lately.
People who know me a bit closer have probably witnessed the kind of idealism and euphoria that sometimes shimmers through my words, when I talk about how confident I am that more and more things in our lives, like our relationships, our work purposes and even the nature on this planet will find back into a more harmonic state very soon, because so many of us have recently started to "wake up" and enjoy exploring a new sense of life that goes way beyond what we have lived so far and beyond the ideas about happiness, success and wealth that got planted into our heads in the past.
Like I have probably said before, I feel that more and more people start to take action in their own small circles and start to change their way of living, their way of thinking and maybe most importantly their way of treating themselves. Small steps that quickly turn into a snowball effect and inspire others to do similar things.
I keep it rather short and abstract here, but you probably know what I mean, if you are part of it in one way or another.

Just wanted to give you a quick idea what this is all about and maybe also, where my optimism and recent inner peace comes from.
February last year I debuted this tune at Subculture Bangkok as the opening ID of that set and it quickly became one of those tracks with a very special meaning/feeling to me, not yet knowing what it's really about.
Often the music just needs that little extra bit of work and fine-tuning until I finally understand what could be the actual story behind the track and with 'A Great Awakening' it was very much like that.
I early understood the euphoria and feeling of relief and freedom in it, but I couldn't really tell what it was related to and where it actually came from, until the actual working title 'Wake Up', that I used for the project since its first notes of music, gave me the final hint.

With the finally found name and then this beautifully crafted artwork A Great Awakening was eventually ready to be released and is now available on your favorite music platforms to download or stream.
