A Nelson "Masterpiece"//Newtsac - Nelson, BC

This is probably my favourite trail in the Kootenays!!!! Newtsac is a double black trail in Nelson, BC and is located the North Shore riding area, which is also known as Kokanee. The trail has it all! Long rock slabs, big man made wood features, fast and flowy loam and steeps scattered throughout the trail. The trail ends on Highway 3A and requires a car to be dropped there or a short pedal back to the parking lot.

There is a small (~7 ft) and large (~15 ft) wooden drop side by side and then there is also a short, steep rock roll to a wooden rollercoaster beside the drops also. None of the features are mandatory and can easily be ridden around.

If you are ever in Nelson and have some time you should definitely check out this trail! It will be one to remember!
