This is the older of the 2 Northwest Model 6 shovels at Brownsville.
It has the "Feather Touch" mechanically assisted clutches, essentially identical to those on the 1926 Northwest Model 105 restored by the harry Young Chapter HCEA, seen elsewhere on this channel.
These massive shovels were used extensively in hard rock excavation.
In the second part of the video, it is working with the same owner's D9.
