Emio The Smiling Man is one of the most unexpected surprises to come from Nintendo in the Switch generation. As the latest entry in the Famicom Detective Club series in 35 years, Emio has evolved the archaic gameplay design to provide a modern investigative experience. With fully voice-acted cutscenes, an ominous narrative, and engaging UI design, Emio has the potential of being a modern classic in the visual novel genre.
