The sound of the SSL is one of the most iconic sounds that forged the timber of countless records over the years. The tone characteristic in addition to its extremely versatile nature makes the SSL an incredibly creative tool inside the recording studio. In this video series, Matteo Marciano (Producer/ Mixer/ Professor of Music Technology) will teach you everything you need to know to get up to speed with the SSL AWS 948. Whether if you are recording or mixing this incredible recording console is capable of enhancing any type of workflow. Due to the covid-19 emergency and the online remote learning, I decided to create these videos as additional class material support for students enrolled in my class Recording & Production Techniques (AKA Gazelien Records). Instead of bringing students to Studio A, this time I tried to bring Studio A's experience to students' homes all around the world.
