A short film outlining the history of Arbeia, South Shields' Roman Fort, featuring volunteers who've made exciting archaeological finds. The film currently plays in the reconstructed Commanding Officer's house onsite at Arbeia. Arbeia is home to the finest full-scale Roman reconstructed buildings in the UK, with a West Gate, Commanding Officer's house and a soldiers' barrack block, and a museum displaying famous Roman Britain artefacts the Regina tombstone, the Victor tombstone and the best example of Roman chain mail in the UK. www.arbeiaromanfort.org.uk
